The democratic style leadership is a team effort, the democratic style leader will make the final decision, and however he or she will seek input from the group, and allow other to contribute to the overall effort and of mission and goals of the department (Warner, 2014).
The autocratic style of leadership is opposite of a team effort, the leader will make literally all the decisions without regards for the opinions of others and the decision reflect the complete personality of the leader (Warner, 2014).

It appears that the crime rates speak for themselves showing a large decrease in the rate of serious crimes as well as murders in measuring them from 1990/2011 (Smith, 2012).
