He begins to write to church of Ephesus. The church is doing well and Jesus is pleased with those Christians, although there is something he wants to tell them. Jesus has noticed that they have lost feeling for Him and one another. If they do not change, Jesus claims that He will remove their lampstand, which is their salvation. If they do change, they will receive eternal life. He also has a message for the church of Smyrna. The Jews don’t consider the Christians as a part of the religious building anymore. If they don’t change that belief, they will be punished, but if they do change, they will receive a crown. Jesus sees that the church of Pergamum are doing poor. They are making sacrifices to the Roman gods and following false prophets. If they change, they will receive what they want. For the church of Thyatira, Jesus knows about Jezebel and the things she has done. Jezebel is a woman that is doing sexual things with many, and it’s wrong. Jesus has tried to stop her, but she won’t. People who are following Jesus will be rewarded. Jesus is noticing that the church of Sardis is alive, but not really. They need to realize that they are doing bad and need to get back to doing what’s right. If they can’t fix themselves, they too will be punished. All of this is claimed to be true by John. These are just some of the many events that was happen in the end times. You should be prepared for when Jesus returns. Nobody knows when he will come back, that is why you should always be ready. If you are not ready, you will be punished and will suffer. Those who are ready will have nothing to
