The Eminent Return of Christ
THE EMINENT RETURN OF CHRIST
This has really raised a lot of questions in the hearts of many. When we talk about the return of a person, then it means that such a person has come before and yet to come again as being expected by those who know of him. The return of Christ is what many believers have always waited for and this has gone a long way to pattern their lifestyles because of the cost thereof.
Before one can wait for a person, then such a person must have known and experienced whom he is waiting for. This is because you cannot patiently wait for someone you don’t know unless it’s called for. Now, when we talk of the return of Christ, we are talking about His second coming which is the anticipated return of Jesus to earth. According to most English versions of the Nicene Creed in current use, it is believed in the “christiandom” that Jesus…ascended into heaven and seated at the right hand of the father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end…
In the New Testament, the second coming of Christ was presented as Him being the judge of the world. He did not only foretell the event but graphically portrays its circumstances (matt. 24:27); the Apostle gave a most prominent place to this as well in their preaching (Acts 10:42) and writings (Rom.2:5-16,14:10, 1Cor 4:5,2Cor 5:10,2 Tim. 4:1;1:5,James 5:7). Also, in John 14:1-3, He said “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my father’s house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you and if I go and prepare a place for you, I WILL COME AGAIN and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also”
Indeed, this is a beautiful promise. After Jesus was crucified for our sins and resurrected, He went back to heaven. But He left us with this wonderful promise that He would return one day to take His believers home. The world of nowadays is a world full of error with so

Resurrection in Christian belief is the rising of the dead at the Last Judgment. Resurrection is most notably associated biblically with Jesus Christ. Christ’s rising from the dead three days after having been crucified on the cross is a story well known among most. It is the first ever and authentic report of a resurrection in our history. “Never before had anyone been raised from the grave in such a way as to be completely transformed and thus beyond the icy fingers of death.” (Deffinbaugh) Resurrection is a common biblical theme noted several time in the scriptures within the Old Testament and the New Testament of the Bible connecting the two.…

When we pray as Christ taught us we find ourselves saying, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” When the will of God is obeyed, the kingdom, the reign of God is made present. It is easier to say this than it is to enact it. Every time I sin I put the kingdom of God away from me: but God’s will cannot be thwarted. It is up to me to remain within God’s kingdom, for if the gates close while I am without I will find myself in the eternal darkness where there is wailing and gnashing of teeth. And as Christ warns us, “But of that day and hour no one knows.” (Mt…

“After these things”, after what things you ask? After a dialogue crammed tight with principles for the seven churches. John, had been transported to heaven through an open door. In heaven John received a revelation of “things which must be hereafter”. Hence, in considering Revelation 4, it’s revealed that all believers in Jesus Christ will be taken out of this world at the culmination of the church age described in the epic event called “The Rapture”. John is called up. In addition, I accept as true the calling up as symbolic of the Rapture. Paul declares in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 that believes shall be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. This word "caught up" comes from a Greek word, harpazo, (har-pad-zo) which means to "seize…

Secondly, Jesus speaks of raising the temple in three days giving information about his own life what He is willing to do to give mankind life. He would be crucified but will raise on the third day and His resurrection promises life to mankind. In John 3 there was an important man called Nicodemus who recognize that He needed a contact with Jesus. Jesus told Nicodemus in order to get to the Kingdom of Heaven he needed to be born again. This new birth is necessary for all mankind that they need the life and that God loves His creation that He sent His only Son to give life and that all who believe in Jesus and repents would have everlasting life. In John 4 Jesus meets the woman at the well and in her time of despair Jesus offers her eternal life and in John 4 Jesus healed the nobleman son at Capernaum who was very sick and the nobleman believed in Jesus that He could make his son well and so because of his belief Jesus gave life to the man’s…

    Mark 13:5-13
Jesus said to them: "Watch out that no one deceives you. Many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and will deceive many. When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains." You must be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues. On account of me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them. And the gospel must first be preached to all nations. Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit." Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.…
