The best advises That I have received
From the moment you are born, everyone usually gives you advice and tells you how you should live your life. I always love listening to others’ advice, however, it does mean that I always follow them. In fact, the best advice I ever received was the advice from my parents, "Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay then it's not the end". In fact, That advice was it taught in Arabic language. My parents’ advice was so right and appropriate. This advice was given to me in everything I did, from sports to school to my real goals. In addition, it gave me confidence that when bad things happened to me or things do not turn out the way I want them because of my parents’ advice I understood it is for a reason. I strongly believe that this is the greatest advice because it tells me that I should be patient and strong. The reasons why I am still following this advice because it makes me confident and reassured to reach my goals.
Since I was a little boy I always heard my parents say “Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay then it's not the end". I have already known that my mother and my father agree with that but I was wondering how this advice works in our lives. In real life, anything in the world It needs facts to agree and then we can follow it. In the beginning, I was not sure how I can understand this advice in my daily life and then I have decided to believe it initially. Some advices do not work without beliefs, so I believed the advice, everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay then it's not the end. I follow it because I have seen many things every time that my parents were in dilemmas and problems but they got out of them. Because of that my parents believe that everything will be fine if they trust themselves. Also, I remember when my father was investing in the stocks market in Dubai, of course the stocks markets are risk, he saw lots of investors who got lost and who got profits but

My mother and father have taught me different techniques to live life. When I was in high school I obeyed my parents, but I did not understand why they said certain things until college. In high school my parents would tell me to control my emotions. When they told me to control my emotions I thought how can people have sovereignty over their emotions. In my freshman year of college, I realized what my parents meant. I am constantly put into high stress situations where I need to exercise control of my emotions. For example, when I take a math test I get very paranoid and anxious but I learned to conquer my feelings by taking deep breaths and rationalizing the situation. I usually breath and remind myself of where I am and that I am going to finish the test with my best effort that I can give within the time allotted. Plato's Allegory of the Cave portrays prisoners who have been held captive in chains for their entire childhood. The free prisoner was unable to use any preconceived knowledge from childhood. In contrast, I will always be able to rely on my parents’ influence on me as a child. At first, my parents shared words of wisdom with me, and I would listen but not truly understand. In college, I have dealt with many situations by using the lessons my parents taught me as a high schooler. My parents’ words have given me insight for the future so that I am able to become an independent…

My parents are very close to me. They have enough knowledge and awareness from people around us. My father advised me every school year that I needed to keep enough distance from others. My father said to me, “Abdulelah, never go out with bad friends. They can affect you in a small matter of time. I know you’re smart. You will know the right thing from the wrong thing.” I knew that my father trusted me because what he had taught me. My mother told me, ”Abdul, focus on your schoolwork. Do not give up no matter what around you tells you. If you work hard today; tomorrow will…

In life everyone has heard words that just stick with them. The words that make you think twice about how you feel about certain situations. And even though that might be true in some cases, it is definitely not true in all cases. I would talk to my freshman self about how there will be many opinions my family, friends, teachers, and other students will have but the main point is to know which ones are worth retaining and applying to life. I would tell myself that you have to choose to listen to the people who you believe have your best interest at heart. Because there is a big difference between someone who is type A which wants to help you and someone who is type B who just wants to show you they know “everything”. The tricky thing about advice is pinpointing which people in your life are type A or type B and you may not always pick correctly. But this just brings it back to the beginning of what I would tell myself, with being able to accept what you cannot control and control what you can, your…

One of many important roles that my mom plays in my life is that of a teacher and counselor. She has taught, and still teaches, about life and anything right and wrong in the world. An example would be that no matter how complicated something can get, never give up and walk away after the first try. Dale Carnegie, a famous writer and lecturer, once said; “Most of the things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.” (Walter 1) Another would be just because you see someone do something that seems bad, but does not get in trouble, do not…

    People Influence Me

Everyone starts out their life headed in their own direction. After time passes, other people influence us and lead us either in the right direction or lead us down a road of destruction. There are many people who have influenced us in our lives and the direction of our lives are going. Some lead us in a good way, and others lead us toward a long, hard way. A few people have guided me astray from my path and have lead me to trouble. A majority of people I know who are more active in my life, have been the ones helping me find my path to success once again and try to make me stay there. I feel that most of the people on my life have lived by this quote from the Dalai Lama, "Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And is you can't help them at least don't hurt them." Most people would say that in life, you cannot be influenced and nobody can change who you are. I disagree with this philosophy based off my experiences and all the people I know have influenced my life. I have learned that many people have been in my life, or have come into my life, and they have changed my life in some way, shape, or form.…

All I can say of what I learned from this is that I tend to see the negative first. It took me far too long to realize that was not the best way to view the world. If I look for the negative first, that is all that I will find. I wish I could say that I follow my own advice, but I don’t. Sometimes it just seems easier to keep to myself. But, I guess that’s how I learned to live with my life.…

My dad taught me the most important lesson: how to be an independent female. I still remember the day that my father sat next to me and said, "Hey sweetie, the most important thing to help you become successful is to have an education, it won’t be a walk in the park sweetie, but in the end it will be more then worth it. Of course, I already knew he was going to say that, for it was nothing new.…

My grandmother taught me how important it is to tolerate people and certain situations. She told me showing people respect will get you a long way in life, as well as seeking help in hard times and facing problems instead of running away from them. Because of this, I try to see the good in people and over look the bad. When I have a problem I think of ways to solve it. When I cannot find a solution I ask for help before things get worse.…
