Gun-control in America Gun control has been a very debated topic in America for as long as the county has been a country. Some believe that there is no reason to have personally owned guns because of the danger and violence associated with them. Others believe that guns are the backbone of American society and without them chaos would ensue and the country would no longer function. There are also many in the middle that believe that there should be regulations on the types of firearms and the number of them and individual may be allowed to own.
