Section 1. Project Relevance and Need | a) IntroductionThis project aims to amalgate the elderly into our society with more ease. It will help us to curb many problems faced by the elderly emotionally which in turn relates to their physical well-being. This project would encourage and seek out individuals who have the time and financial capabilities to come forward and contribute this two factors and help make Singapore a elderly-concern country.The project would require individuals who would volunteer different services to different groups of elderly and ensure that the elderly basic emotional and physical needs are met. | b) The relevance of the project to Singapore This project idea is extremely relevant and crucial as Singapore’s population is facing an increasing aging population. There is a 0.6% increase in the aging population from 2011 to 2012. And a 0.9% increase from 2010 to 2012. With each passing each there is going to be an increase in population of aging and with the speed and bloom of Singapore, everyone is busy upgrading and keeping up with the hustle and bustle and fail to set aside some time plan for active aging and thus when they eventually reach an age where they can no longer care for themselves and need an assistance they stand rather helpless. The amount of elderly getting abandoned in Singapore and in johore bahru, Malaysia is a number quite terrifying to comprehend. Thus by bring forward this project we aim to curb the amount of elderly that are being neglected | Section 2. Project Description | a) Provide a brief description of the proposed project.
