“Move it, inmate. We don’t have all day.” the officer scolded.
Teddy arrived to the airplane, with an apathetic expression. He sat down and watched as the other inmates wearing orange jumpsuits came aboard. As the seats began to fill, he began to think to himself about what kind of isolated and egregious life would await when he arrived at Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp. Teddy glimpsed up to the aisle and saw a tall, dark haired man shuffling towards. He sat down right next to Teddy. They sat on the airplane bound for Guantanamo Bay in silence. Until Teddy broke the silence. “So what’re ya in for?” Teddy asked. …show more content…
“Oh my god! This plane is a house of cards! It’s so unstable, it shakes with every movement, and every second I have to pray that it will not fall.”
After a presumed sinister flight, the inmates arrived at Guantanamo Bay.
“Come on magots! This ain’t no tea party!” a guard shouted.
The men rushed out of the plane and took in the image of where they’d be spending their lives. They saw the fifteen-foot tall barbed wire fences, the grotesque buildings and scenery, and other inmates being escorted by officers in unison. Before the inmates stood two guards, each wearing a standard security uniform and nametag. One of the name tags read “Lt. Harrison” and the other read “Sgt. Sanders”. The inmates listened as they announced rollcall.
“Lewis, Teddy. Inmate number 826. Schmidt, Jonas. Inmate number 827.”
Sgt. Sanders directed all of the inmates to their designated cells in Building C. Teddy and Jonas were following the sergeant along with all the other timorous soldiers. Teddy and Jonas looked at Sgt. Sanders and noticed a small silver horseshoe in his hand.

He was still and lifeless on the table. Hours went by with no movement. But then, the body of Jonas began the shake, he began to cough. Then Jonas suddenly bursted up from the table and took in a huge gasp of air. It seemed that he had only been unconscious. Confused, Jonas got up and slowly began to wander out of the morgue. He came across a room that was marked “Control Room”. He glanced through the window and it was presumed to be empty. He entered and noticed a drawer labeled “Archives”. He scrolled through and found the file of Teddy Lewis. He opened it in amazement. It had everything about Teddy’s life in it. When he was young, he was an angel. He got good grades in school, respected his parents, and never got in trouble with the law. The file continued. It also said that he served in World War 2 and had to be honorably discharged with major PTSD. The biggest discovery was next. He didn’t kill one man, he killed twenty-two. Jonas was amazed by what he found. He was also curious to see what actually happened to him. He found the security tapes from the night before. Teddy did not get out of the bed at all during the night. Instead, Jonas saw a security uniform coming towards the cell. It was Sanders! Sanders tried to kill him. Jonas got a copy of the footage to save his friend.
The two days were over. Teddy was up next on death row. He was lead out of the prison by guards and saw a noose waiting for him. He had to hopelessly
