Ted Talk Process Analysis
The “Ted talk process” is coming to a close, although, with that, a new challenge arises: the actual presentation. I presented my talk earlier on, this allowed me to change my talk (in the hopes of improving it), but, my opportune placing in the schedule also allowed me to have more time to partake in the editing process. Overall, both my teacher, and fellow students gave me insightful, and worthy notes about my talk. Due to this, I now realize how incoherent, and unorganized my “slide order” was; it seems as if I jump from one unrelated topic to the next. I am of course looking to change this, and I’m attempting to increase audience engagement throughout. One thing I fear, however, is that my peers were sympathetic when writing their notes.

I am the biggest offender in this category, however, all talks featured repetition. Of course, this is to be expected, for some points are going to be stressed more than others, however, I believe that we all repeated to much. For example, I continually came back to the idea that all our fears are rooted in death, this is the main topic of my talk, however, I simply said it too much: it seems as if I sometimes lost sight of the topic of each specific slide, for I was continually going back to the ideal of death resulting in all fear. Furthermore, I believe this pertains to all talks (maybe not to the same degree), for all presenters sometimes regurgitated some points, when they should have been making new ones. The Ted talk process is indeed over, and two days from now, we are expected to present our talks without mistakes. It will be difficult, and surely, presenters will mess up, although, due to our in class presentation, all the presenters know of their mistakes, and, they are looking to capitalize on their feedback. Due to this, I would like thank you; my presentation was not worthy of a crowd when I first presented, although, due to this informative experience you allowed us to partake in, I know we will all be better
