Going from gasoline to batteries could cause complications because batteries would constantly have to be charged or replaced. With batteries having to be charged, a person’s electricity bill would sky-rocket. Driverless cars will move at a much slower velocity than driver-operated cars. It sounds too good to be true, but what if it happens. If everyone had self-driving It would decrease the amount of deaths in car crash. There are lots of human on Earth and they all make mistakes People are always distracted by talking on the phone to talking to the person next to you, this can cause the person to take his attention off the road. Between 93 percent and 95 percent of fatal accidents are caused by human error (Peterson). In addition to deaths, vehicle accidents send about 2.5 million people per year to emergency rooms That figure comes from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (Peterson). Humans will always make mistakes, but computers would take a lot of danger out of the equation entirely. All the computer can do is what you tell it to do. Also there are many people who die because of a car crash and this death can be prevented. Auto accidents have killed more than 32,000 in the past 5 years (Peterson). Road traffic crashes rank 9th place of cause of death. All those lives should have been preserved by a self-driving car. There is not just a lot of people dying there is a lot of money that is being spent because of car crashes. The NHTSA estimates the U.S. economic and social costs of vehicle accidents, excluding the cost of car ownership, at $871 billion a year (Peterson). The 9.2 million dollars of damage will be decreased ("Top 20 Pros and Cons”). Computers will not be able to crash because of all the sensors they have to keep you safe. At the same time, self-driving cars remove much of the human error that contributes to the vast majority of injuries and deaths. Now there are cars that park by themselves and have sensors that stop when it sees something in front of the car. Self-driving cars also free the drivers' time for other things instead of having to waste time driving. You can catch up on your book and other things and it will help people who cannot drive go…

The introduction of self-driving cars would wreak havoc on the US economy, forcing millions of Americans out of their jobs. Truck drivers, cab drivers, mailmen, van drivers, and others in the vehicle driving industry would no longer have an income. As self-driving cars are still in the development stages and have not been widely developed, there has been little impact on employment thus far, but we can expect an economic crisis if these cars are implemented in greater numbers in the future.…
