Today’s Society Our society at present has gone to a higher level of technology, wherein more are discovered and invented for the convenience of the mass. The biggest aspect affecting today’s society is covered by the boom in technology which has progressed a lot than that of centuries ago. Today technology pervades almost all aspects of our daily life from shopping, banking, making transactions and more. In short, our society relies a lot on the technology around. People are unaware of their dependence to technology in almost everything they do. Therefore, man can hardly live life without technology. But technology has its ups and downs in regards to today’s society. There are a lot of advantages that technology is giving to our society today. Modern technology has solved many problems that people face and play an important role in the development of many countries. Modern technologies create many kinds of products from computers and even until cloning. Technology today has made life better and quicker in our today’s society; people can't see themselves without computers, cell phones, voice mail and the like. The Technological progress makes our society more convenient and safe. Making impossible things possible are similar features of the change which previous people have experienced by social change, like shifting from a hunting society to an agricultural society and establishing a commercial society due to the invention of new tools. To consider these advantages and change of society, modern technology, which we use today, might be not only a new tool but also the tool, which makes a dramatic change in history. However, the contribution of modern technology to society should not be eliminated and should be distributed evenly. In line with the advantages that technology is giving to our society today are also the disadvantages. Nothing is perfect they say, even technology has an ugly touch to our society and even to our daily living.
