How Do we know of we have taking technology to far in life? People are relying on technology way to much now a days. There is really no way we can stop our advancement in technology. I do agree some technology is good, but only if it doesn’t harm the environment, or cause many people to loss there jobs. Technology is bad because it can be harmful to the environment, people can loss there jobs, and we are relying on technology to much. In the book, The Lorax, the character known as the Once-ler moved into this forest with tons of trees and happy animals. The Once-ler started to cut down trees and make thneeds out of them to sell. As his business grew, his technology advanced too. He was cutting to many trees down and his factors were polluting the air, all the animals had to leave. This is also happening in real life, factories, cars, and landfills, all things that contribute to the pollution of our planet making it more and more unsanitary to live every day, and ruining habitats. Another reason technology is bad is because it can cause people to lose their jobs. For example, we watched a video on the 3-D printing, they making these crazy printers that can make any item you want in a matter of seconds . You could make tons of tools or anything you needed. This could cause a lot of problems for people needed jobs, a company can simple have one guy working on a 3-D printer making like tons of that item a day, instead of multiple people running the assembly lines. 100s can lose there job over just one 3-D printer. The last Reason technology is bad is because we are relying on it to much, or using it to much, it is ruining our lives. Did you know the average person spends 3.2 hours a day on social media. We are all wasting our time on the internet and forgetting how to actually socialize. Also we are forgetting how to do hard labor or what it actually means to do hard work and earn something. We just sit there and monitor the machines as they do all the work for
