Planning:
What is a Pop Bottle Rocket?
A pop bottle rocket uses a 2L pop bottle, which then, you fill up the 2L pop bottle with water, and then with air, air pressure is created, and when you launch it Newton’s law happens. A lot of people put designs on their rockets, such as mine I did not leave it plain, I added cardboard, fins, color, nose etc. To make the rocket fly high and far away, you have to understand on how to make your rocket aerodynamic. Below this is an example on how a water rocket can be launched.

Observations from prototypes:
(Prototype rockets are much smaller and use 500ml pop bottles)
I tried to make my prototype rocket have a pointy nose, just because it can be aerodynamic, pointy nose rockets fly great, it’s just after the rocket has crashed nose down, it will fail to protect the egg because the landing will be harsh and we are supposed to protect the egg on the actual rocket. After, I put 1 or 2 small rocks into the nose cone before gluing it on because then it will have a high center of mass which will make it actually fly like a rocket. I never flew my rocket because I was away on the day we did, and I did not make any fins as I was away for the previous days as well.
Here is my prototype rocket;

The Construction Process for the Rocket:

Materials

· 2L empty plastic bottle
· Cardboard sheets
· Box cutter
· Hot glue gun/Glue
· Black/Grey Vinyl sheets
· Scissors
· Foam cord
· Water
· Egg
· Sponge
· Cotton Balls
· Bubble wrap

Steps:
(Before, all of these steps make sure you have the vinyl color of your choice onto the cardboard before cutting it off)
1. Firstly, gather materials for building pop bottle rocket
2. Measure the amount of the cardboard sheet needed to wrap bottle
3. Cut cardboard sheet using box cutter
4. Wrap cardboard sheet around 2L bottle and apply hot glue on edge of cardboard sheet so that

The fuse of the shell ignites, causing the shell to rise to its correct altitude, at which point it bursts the charge, and goes off with a brilliant explosion of light and power.…

What I learned about bottle rockets is the smaller the bottles, the higher the rocket goes. The rocket has to have water on the bottom for it to fly. What I did for my rocket is I got two 2 liter bottles. I cut part of the bottom off one of the bottles and taped them together. But, you have to make sure it’s not sideways. If the bottles are taped on sideways if won’t fly straight. Then, I cut out four fins and glued them on the bottom of the rocket. With the fins there is a better chance it with fly higher. Next, I cut out five strings for the parachute. We put a parachute on it so that when it comes down the parachute will slow it down for it not to hit the ground hard. For the parachute I got a plastic bag and taped the strings to it…

There were not as many steps as I thought there would be involved in building the bottle itself. First I emptied out two two liters of pop. I then cut off the tops of both bottles, and threw out one of the bases. In the leftover base, I poured water, aquatic gravel, and a fake plant for the fish. I then put the fish in it’s new happy home. In order to feed him, I cut out a flap leading to the water that I can put fish food in. After that, I began working on the top layer. I placed one of the tops, with the cap still on, about half an inch into the original base. I taped it securely into the base, to ensure that the whole upper layer would not crush the fish. Then I put my plants into the half-built top layer. After that I placed my second bottle top on top of the base, creating another funnel. I taped the top securely on, finishing the bottle. I can screw and unscrew the cap whenever I need to give the plant water.…

The very first person who invented the first rocket was Robert Hutchings Goddard. He invented the first liquid-fuel rocket in March 16, 1926. Multiple cultures used rockets before such as a man named Archytas from Greek amazed people by flying a bird made from wood. Then 300 years later, another Greek Hero of Alexandria invented a similar rocket device. The earliest rockets were used in 1232. At that time, the Chinese and Mongols were at war with each other. The Chinese attacked the Mongols by the arrows of flying fire; that was a simple form of a rocket. Rockets have changed over time because the very first rocket was made by China and all it was, was bamboo tubes were imperfectly sealed tightly instead of exploding with explosion all it did…

Rockets have taken in a lot of experiments and a lot of research to be where there is today. Even thought Dr. Robert Hutching Goddard built the first modern rocket the first successful rocket that used the scientific use of a rocket was a wooden bird, built by a guy named Archtas he amazed the citizens of Tarentum. About 300 years later another man named Alexandria invented the aeolipile. Although there were those rockets the first true rocket seems to be unclear because in the…

Rocket’s no matter if it's made of paper or a billion dollar project by NASA both have variables that will affect their performance of flight. These three variables are lift, thrust, and drag. The explanation of these three are boiled down to: lift the force in which acts as a right angle to the direction of motion. Thrust is the force that propels the rocket and enables it to fly. Finally there is drag the force that acts as the opposite to the direction of motion.…

We started building from the capsule and parachute. First under the capsule we added decoupler and followed that with advance S.A.S, FL-T500 fuel tank, and a LV-T45 liquid fuel engine. After that we used three symmetry tool and placed radial decouplers as low as possible and placed AV-R8 winglets on it as low as possible as well. We used decouplers because we want it to detach on our way back and used winglets because it makes best landing, they are light, and they will not band or fall off. After that we added decoupler to the bottom of our rocket. Then we moved three radial decouplers one stage up and moved liquid engine one stage down. So if we detach the rocket the wings will not fall off and engine would be already activated. Next we added tri-coupler and to that we stacked three sets of fuel tanks and underneath that we put LV-T45 liquid engine. Then we used strut connecter to hold it all together. Again we attached decouplers under the liquid engine and followed that by three set of fuel tanks, LV-T45 liquid engine and used strut connecter to hold it all together. After that we placed radial decoupler to the bottom of the second to the last stage as low as possible and on that we put another radial decoupler. Then we put solid fuel booster on radial decopler as low as possible. Next we placed tri-coupler under solid fuel booster. After that we placed three sets of nine FL-T500 fuel tanks, under that we put LV-T30 liquid fuel engines. We used LV-T30 liquid fuel engine because it is more powerful and give us the boost we need to leave the atmosphere. After that we tied whole rocket together. First we tied each of the external stacks together, then we tied each stack to the next stacks, after that we tied external stacks with internal stacks. next we need to create stage after the stage five, and add radial decouplers to the new stage . we did this because external stacks use their fuel more quickly than the internal stacks. So we need to discard the external…

The central conflict is that he does not feel the same since he has come back from Vietnam. I would say there are two instances that he best describes this problem. "I still hadn't told her I felt I'd left part of myself in her country." (88) Another moment was at the very end when he imagines the faces of the dead from Vietnam on his way to L.A. I think that the whole story builds up suspense by the way he dances around the problem and never talks to Lily about Vietnam. He also mentions that since he had been back he and his friends had not even acknowledged that he had been there. I think that this is very significant in identifying that what he had to deal with in Vietnam has scared him. I would almost identify Komunyakaa with the machine as he talks about working. I get the sense that he is just trying to make it day to day and that his experiences in Vietnam are holding him back from really living. I think that eventually Komunyakaa decides to move forward by going to school because the alternative seems to be him living out his days in the drooling factory.…

“Today's rockets are remarkable collections of human ingenuity that have their roots in the science and technology of the past.” Rockets function by blasting a high speed stream of gas through a nozzle or set of nozzles. Blasting out this gas creates a force that propels the rocket in the opposite direction. Continued experimentation and exploration uncovered rocket’s projectile capabilities, eventually leading to our modern space program. The invention of the rocket fueled space exploration and satellite development impacting communication, resource availability and our understanding of the universe.…

Rockets create thrust by expelling mass backwards in a high speed jet (see Newton's Third Law). Chemical rockets, the subject of this article, create thrust by reacting propellants within a combustion chamber into a very hot gas at high pressure, which is then expanded and accelerated by passage through a nozzle at the rear of the rocket. The amount of the resulting forward force, known as thrust, that is produced is the mass flow rate of the propellants multiplied by their exhaust velocity (relative to the rocket), as specified by Newton's third law of motion. Thrust is therefore…
