The first step in making tamales is, you let the meat in this case “pork” cook for at least two hours, with a piece of garlic and onion to give it some flavor. While patiently waiting for the meat to cook well, grab some red Chile pods and take the seeds it has inside out. After finishing taking out the seeds, you place the chiles in a saucepan and add about two the three cups of water and put it on heat for half an hour. Then when the time has passed transfer the red Chiles and water to your blender until the Chiles are smooth. Christmas brownies are tasty treats that make their appearance in the winter of every year. The brownies are chewy and delicious, with an intensely chocolatey interior – somewhat like homemade fudge. My family enjoys the brownies in December as a Christmas tradition. When we bake them together, we take caution that we are using the correct ingredients and cookware, as this will ensure a positive outcome for the brownies. Mixing the right amount of ingredients correctly will give them the right consistency, which may take several attempts. Baking the batter at the correct temperature for the given amount of time will prevent problems with over and undercooking. Making chocolate brownies from scratch requires you to gather fresh ingredients and…

According to the website, “Problems with Christmas Curriculum,” published by Steven A. Gelb, the standard formula used to create the plot of hundreds of holiday movies, shows the same fantasized version of Christmas, which makes one’s choice of how they would want their holiday to take place, difficult. Although several individuals would like the reality of a holiday to more closely resemble the television-version, visual settings, reasons for celebrating, and the holiday’s ending make individual unrealistically expect a more romanticized version of Christmas.…

On the first day, the students gathered themselves and went on a fun walk around the plaza and headed back to the school campus. They said it was so energizing knowing that they are having so much fun walking with their schoolmates, chatting with each other while people are watching them, staring at their shiny shirts. Oh! Not to forget, they already wore their official jersey shirts with colors green and yellow with three stripes of grey on the shoulder. After awhile they headed back to the COT lobby for the Thanksgiving Mass. The mass ended with fireworks and at the same time the COT Faculty, whom we treat as our parents pampered us and prepared a small snack for everybody. After a sip-on-a-soup and bite on a bread, everybody went upstairs at the HRM Function Hall for the Opening Program and cutting of ribbon. The Campus Administrator- the woman of the hour- Prof. Grace Bunda, spared her time rushing upstairs and gave us her inspiring message. After that short but meaningful message- our Dean, Prof. Anecito Ganancial officially opened the COT exhibit that the students anticipated the whole day. Visitors from different schools in the Municipality of Dumangas particularly the…
