Most of the world would agree that the holocaust was a terrible thing, millions of people being killed over several years was inhumane. A lot of people look back on that and think “how could anyone let that happen?”. If we don’t let Syrians come over we are causing the same situation. It may be difficult to help the refugees, but if anybody in the U.S. was enduring the same situation we’d be asking for help too. The Syrians have been requesting any type of support from the world. Bringing Syrians over might not be the easiest thing to do but it’s humane. The country doesn’t want to look back on this time in history and feel terrible because we had a chance to stop the killing of many innocent people if we opened our arms to these peaceful people. They deserve a safe and protected environment to try and live their life. Americans are given this each day and what makes Syrians any less deserving of a life where they have a chance to succeed.
