Description

The course provides and interdisciplinary approach that blends management principles, Quality concepts and philosophies, Supply Chain Management, Process Improvement Methodologies
(such as Lean and Six Sigma), and modern quality topics applied in the global environment.

Objectives

1- Students should develop the foundation of understanding various quality systems and management concepts that are part of a service or manufacturing organization.
2- Students will make practical and theoretical linkage between the theory and implementation of quality tools.
3- Students will develop a practical approach for initiating quality total quality to achieve organizational excellence.
4- Students will develop a project on implementation of quality management tools in a business or a community setting.
