1. Select a company for which to do a SWOT analysis. You may select a company for which you have worked OR select one that has a fairly descriptive web site to obtain information. You might also consider a company for which you would like to work for in the future.

2. Provide answers for the following questions: (3 marks)

a. What is the company’s mission and/or vision statement? Mission – to make a difference between cars and jaguar cars. Providing each and every possible thing in the car to make it the most popular car in the luxury car segment.
Vision- to make the car favourite and only choice for the upper class of the society,

b. What is the main industry in which the company competes? Automobiles

c. What do you think is their strategic objective? Target the higher income group in the world and also to diversify its product range.

3. Complete a SWOT analysis for the company using the outline/template provided below to help in identifying at least 3 internal strengths, weaknesses, external opportunities and threats. Be sure to provide evidence to support your claims. Simply stating as a strength that the company is profitable, is NOT analysis. If they are profitable then perhaps it is more likely that they can pursue opportunities for expansion, etc. (16 marks)

4. Conclusion: The company is producing high end cars in order to attract the upper class of the society. The company is now focusing on making powerful cars with fuel economy. The technology used in the cars are almost used by every competitor car manufacture so the company
