I was one of maybe eight out of a class of 50 who passed the TEAS Exam with a score high enough to grant me admission into their competitive RN program. During my time at Rasmussen I have taken my studies very seriously and have earned Honor Roll. However, my educational and career goals surpass that of which Rasmussen can provide for me. I hope to first achieve an AS at USF and then to be granted into the AS-MS Accelerated Graduate Program. I know that the program is very competitive, but with the resources provided at USF, I know I can excel. I hope that my strong desire for success shines through what I have written here and that you take my awards, honors, and applicable skills into consideration when deciding on my admission status. I can assure you that if I am admitted into USF, I will always grant my classes (as well any extracurricular activities) my upmost attention and full effort at all…

As a practitioner I must follow Data protection |Act 1998. It is very important when working with children, young people and parents any information they give me, I must keep it confidentiality. Parents or young children their self will give me information which must not be shared around. It is very important not to leave any important documents lying about to prevent anyone from taking any records home and prevent breach of confidentiality as a person’s friend etc. gets to see them. In my setting we got a data protection system on our computer where we store everyone’s confidential information and we will only discus information about a child to the appropriate member of staff, if I feel they are at risk or in any danger.…

Houghton Refrigeration Company safety training program is very poorly organized. I disagree with their current process of hiring and training new employees. Houghton Refrigeration should not expect newly hired employees to learn a job within ten minutes and perform the job correctly without any prior knowledge of the product they are about to work on. Currently Houghton does not offer orientations. Houghton should offer newly hired employees an orientation where they are given a brief history of the company and the products it offers customers. Houghton should also offer training sessions during the first week of employment so employees can learn the company’s processes. Training sessions should be conducted by a member of management who is engaging and familiar with the products, safety regulations, and OSHA requirements. Training sessions should include safety material -handling techniques, safety rules and regulations, lifting procedures, and proper ways of installing products. This will allow employees to familiarize themselves with safe ways to handle the products they will be working with and give them an opportunity to ask questions. Once the employees show up for their first day they should be assigned to an experienced employee for at least two days to show and monitor the new employees work and assist if needed. The experienced employee could provide the new hire with helpful information or techniques as to how to complete the job effectively and without accidents.…
