Summary Of Why Canada Needs A Flood Of Immigrants
With the advent of time world is getting smaller and smaller every day. The increasing number of people choose to immigrate other country that has less of population, such as Canada. These countries need a lot of immigrants to fill their labour-market needs; in addition, people may get better living throughout immigrant. Recently, there is a debate about immigration policy, the topic is that Canada should or should not consider the language and country for choosing immigrants. Some persons think yes, Canada should use this way to improve its immigrant level. However, most of the people believe that Canada should not use this policy. Firstly, the population in Canada is less, it cannot meet the labour-market needs. In "Why Canada Needs a Flood of Immigrants"(2012), Joe Friesen states that Canada needs to increase the number of immigrants, best to doubt the number of immigrants. The reason is that Canada lacks enough labour force. For example, in "Why Canada Needs More Immigrants—Now", Ramsey asserts that a survey by Canada’s Federation of Independent Business shows that, one out of 20 jobs cannot found enough labour to fill them.
