1. Alex, if you told the truth about Pauline and Otis, do you think you would have gotten in much trouble?
Alex: I don't think I would have because I wasn't with Brodie. However, I think that he would have been in big trouble which is why I kept the secret. I didn't want to get him into trouble because I want him to trust me and I want him to think that I'm like a brother to him.
2. Mrs. Lynch, if you found out that Brodie was keeping a dark secret from you, would you be disappointed?

Raoul, if you found out that someone knew what really happened at Dinkins pond but didn’t tell you, what would your reaction be?
Raoul: I would be very upset that the citizens of this town were not telling the truth because no one in this town has ever kept secrets. We are a small town and we all trust each other. There are good people in this town and if someone was lying about a case this serious, I, unfortunately, would have to arrest them. 6. Brodie, who do you feel is responsible for writing the anonymous letter?
Brodie: I honestly don’t know. I expected it to be Otis but after I found out that he was dead I became clueless. If I had to guess though, I would say it would be The Batman because he is against lying and he always knows what’s going on. 7. Brodie, do you think that in the future someone will actually find out the truth about what happened with Pauline and Otis?
Brodie: I don’t think that it will get out because this is very serious and if it did, I think Alex and I would be in a whole lot of trouble. Pauline told me to let go so I did. I don’t mean to blame Otis but he was the one that pulled them back farther. I do however feel guilty for being a part of it and if someone were to find out, I think that I still would be the one getting blamed. 9.
