Summary Of Connie's Dreams '
Connie is a young teenage girl who tries to live in her own imaginary little world. She thinks that she’s somewhat older and wiser than her age, which is what most fifteen year olds think today. Her mother mentioned in the story that “Connie’s mind was all filled with trashy daydreams.” Connie’s “dreams” are “mundane teenage boy-girl reveries, enhanced by the hypnotic music she listens to constantly.” Music could have different meanings to people, the kind of music she was listening to was her idea of what love is or should be. Teenage girls want to feel loved and they’re in love with the idea of being loved by someone. Connie had mixed feelings/emotions because she was at that age when you start learning more about yourself and at the same
