INTRODUCTION
1.1. Background of Study
Having a better life is a goal of everyone, so many people would like to get better life with their own ways and most of them choose to work. However, to accomplish their goals just working is not enough for them although they have worked for a long time. Therefore, to get success in their work and get better life they choose to continue their study in college or university also. Sometime, most of them decide to choose diploma because it has shorter education system than other.
Prisma Profesional is the institute of education has two years education systems equal to diploma which is the students of Prisma Profesional have to study for two years and after graduate must be ready to go in work world. It means Prisma Profesional has a vision to develop the abilities and skills for business world. Prisma Profesional has nine different schools of profession: School of Business Management, School of Accounting, School of Banking, School of Secretary, School of Hotel and Management, School of Computing Technology, School of Travel and Tourism, School of Public Relations, and School of Professional English Communications. So, all of the majors have related in work world and one of them is Professional English Communication or PEC. PEC has different teaching methods than others all the subjects of PEC are in English.
PEC is one of the most interested major in Prisma Profesional because it w produces graduate of Prisma Profesional with English skills which are including writing and speaking fluently. As a result, all PEC’s subjects concerning with work world and one of the subjects is presentation skill. In the work world, presentation skill is so needed by most of companies such as how to present their products, how to presentation in the meeting and so on.
Recently, most of local companies have related and join team with foreign companies. So, the students are not focus on common presentation but also it is
