Statement Of Purpose In Electronics
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE Can you ever think of the Earth without the Sun? Today, the same scenario can be applied to the field of Electronics as well. It is hard to imagine life without electronics. Electronics has geared up our living conditions and has become the most vital part of our life. The invention of Transistor at BELL laboratory in the year 1947 had revolutionized the field of electronics. And this small device became the heart of an electronic circuit, and in turn transformed the way we live, work and play. This makes electronics one of the most challenging fields as it not only fulfills the present day needs but also has the capability of changing the way humans will lead their lives in the future as well. The past century has opened …show more content…
“The most influential of all educational factors is the conversation in a child’s home”-William temple I believe in this quotation. As I hail from an educated family, I was always given the freedom of expression of my ideas or opinions irrespective of the views I put forth. This in turn shaped my ideology as well as my goals. I bear the virtue of receiving standard education in reputed schools. These institutions introduced me to not just theoretical concepts but of a more application oriented education. Right from my school days, I was very curious to know how things work, believing strongly in the application part of my education. I used to wonder how the electronic gadgets, the small electronic toys work and used to wait for a good chance to open them up with intense curiosity, and understand its working. I strongly believe that in order to make anything happen, I must desire intensely and completely so that it would happen. I have grown to realize that this kind of conviction is not only a strong motivating force, but also that it will make things …show more content…
This led me to opt for Electronics and Communication Engineering in my under graduate course at Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology, affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada one of the best institutes in India. The engineering curriculum gave me a strong grasp of all technical principles. This is where my quest for knowledge and rational approach to concepts has driven me to work hard and attain proficiency in my chosen area. During my undergraduate study subjects like Communication systems, Signal processing, VLSI, Control systems, Microprocessors have been my favorite subjects. In particular, I feel an affinity towards Signal processing & VLSI, and would like to specialize in these areas. During my course work I visited Efftronics, a leader in data acquisition systems and engineering solutions, which provides software and hardware solutions that enable companies to develop better products faster and more effectively. This helped me understand how the problems are approached in real time. In the third year I was introduced to software like Xilinx, MATLAB wherein I was able to apply my theoretical knowledge to real time

We live in an era where a myriad of gadgets and gizmos are available for our everyday convenience. A time where people are willing to line up outside of an Apple store for a $750 phone or a group of distraught adults that are ready to murder one another in a Walmart for the latest electronics their children want for Christmas; is this the ideal use for high technology? Kids nowadays will have these high technologies to either benefit their learning experience or have their education meet its demise. Even though high technology is a tool that’s able saves us time and allows us to be more efficient with our workload, I believe that the education received through technology does not compare to the one received through rigorous work or hours of reading material.…

One may say that in the "real world," after one has passed the educational system's requirements, that we won't always have to rely on ourselves to solve problems or come up with answers, but instead one can turn to a device for an answer. In some cases, this can be true, but to be able to use our minds and increase its development is a much greater benefit to have rather than relying on a electronic device. Many students who…

I have enjoyed sharing my ideas and thoughts with other throughout my education years whether as a teacher or a student. I chose elementary education as a profession in classroom technology particularly because of many reasons. First, I think this major will help me a lot to understanding children who are the basic part of our societies. Also, I believe this major will increase my knowledge about their needs in our daily life which will eventually lead to an appearance of a new educated generation. This major which is in particular about the technology in classroom will also develop my skills in teaching by using the newest technology in the world to create a suitable atmosphere for the children. However, since I am from a developing country, which is Saudi Arabia, and based on recent observations on the general situation of education in my country, the use of technology has become an important part of the education in our schools and universities. So, I should learn some new ways of teaching to help my country and the children to generate good educators in different fields of study. Because of all above reasons, I have decided to pursue my education in this major to be an effective and helpful person in my society.…

The field of electrical & electronics engineering has always fascinated me. I picked up the rudiments of electronics field and electrical engineering. The reason for choosing Electronics and Communication stream was not a hasty decision. My interest started developing in the early stage of my life, when I studied about the invention of computers, moreover about its large size. The transformation from the large size to small palmtops enticed me to know about the factors that are responsible for making computers, also the electronic gadgets so small. I was taken aback after seeing a small chip for the first time in my school days, furthermore when it came to my knowledge that this single chip contains more than 1000 transistors, it really became impossible for me to believe, “integrated circuits” was the answer I received, but wasn’t able to penetrate the fundamentals of it. From then, everyday I come across with small circuits and spent hours to solve the mystery and…

Over the past four years I have spent most of my time taking classes, studying from books, reading papers, doing homework, giving presentations, attending various events and seminars about mathematics. All of these studies made me understand how passionate I am about mathematics. However, my professors and friends in mathematics PhD programs tell me that this is just the tip of the iceberg. Now then I have decided to combine all these efforts to take me further at the world of researching. Despite the arduous nature of research, I am confident though that my resoluteness gives me the ability to reach my targets. The first time I discovered my determination was whilst I was playing chess at the National level. The hardest challenge at that stage was to prepare myself in order to compete in high level tournaments, in which I later managed to win awards. The second milestone was making the decision to become a researcher in my undergraduate years. After choosing such a route for my career, the significant increase in my GPA is attests to my ambitious and dedicated nature mentioned above. On the way to becoming a mathematician, I find nothing more striking than the simplicity and elegance of geometric ideas. As I attended my first lectures in Euclid’s fifth axiom, Gauss’ “Remarkable Theorem” and Einstein’s equations, my previous perceptions changed drastically under the pressure of these simple but powerful notions. Following that impact, it became crucial for me to keep track of new advances in the field of geometry. Delving into the depths of geometry, I came to appreciate its connections with many topics which appeared unrelated at first sight. One of these connections, namely to Groups and Symmetries, became my the topic of my undergraduate thesis. The Classification of the Wallpaper Groups was the title, and analyzing symmetries of two dimensional tessellations in terms of group theoretical notions was the goal of this study. During my educational life, I put…
