INSPIRATIONAL SPEECH
MOTHER’S LOVE

Ladies and Gentleman:
It's an honor to be given an opportunity to speak about a very important and lovable person in our lives today, a Mother.

While I was surfing the internet, there is one quotation that catches my attention and I want it to share it with you. It goes this way:
A mother’s love, how sweet the name,
What is a mother’s love?
A noble, pure and tender flame
Enkindled from above
To bless a heart of earthly mould
The warmest love that can grow cold

Yes, mother is the sweetest name on earth. A mother is one of the very best gifts given to us by God. She nourishes her child with her own blood in her womb within 9 months and takes care for us, her child, until the day she can. She is the person that understands the things we say and do and overlooks our faults and sees the best in you. Her love inspires us day by day. Since the day we we’re born it have been her reassuring hands that has guided us every step of the way. A mother's impulse to care and protect is just natural. Despite the fact we've probably driven Mom's tolerance to the edge of sanity at times in years gone by, she has always maintained a strong sense of which she is and what she means to us. Her loyalty is deep in her soul, and her love for us is even deeper.

To find the words that actually express how special this woman is to all of us here is to simply speak of love, itself. Even though it is not easy to define, but I'm sure we know what it feels like, because in this life, it is love, our mother has taught us first-hand. Let me end this message with a quotation:
A mother may be treated like the maid,
A mother may be treated like the gardener,
A mother may be treated like the daycare,
A mother may be treated like the chauffer,
A mother may be treated like many things.
But one thing is for sure,
A mother will always be loved.
For a fathers work may be from sun up till sundown, but a mothers work is never done.
So this is for all the times we forgot to say Thank you!
Happy Mother’s Day.

Mother's entertain the hope that their children will be beautiful and smart, perfect, accepted by society, The author nurtures and cares for the book as a mother would her child until it is "snatched from thence by friends, less wise than true." Once the author realizes that her child, the book, is subject to the criticism of the "vulgars," she becomes embarrassed and criticizes her own work. However, just as a mother to her child, she cannot help but try and mold it into something the public will accept and adore. Just as these same mothers are often disappointed with human imperfections, the author is disappointed with her own human imperfections, resulting in an inadequate piece of work. When all her efforts fail, she abandons the book, "sending out of door" to its fate just as poor, beggarly women abandon their children to the kindness of a harsh…

Young De Trejo A.K.A momma. I met Mrs. Trejo my sophomore year due to having joined our theatre UIL program here at Sam Houston. At first glance during contest mode Mrs. Trejo can be very scary and intimidating, but really she is assertive and truly caring just like any mother would be. Ms. Trejo was a blessing soon to come. Throughout these past three years I have went through a multitude of things and one of the only people to be there for me was Mrs. Trejo. She was not only there for me but she cared for me like I was one of her own children, and she was like his with our whole theatre group. While not only being a caring mother figure Mrs. Trejo has also been a great and inspiring acting coach and theatre teacher. When first joining the theatre program I had stage fright and had never acted before but when Mrs. Trejo was done with me I was a completely different person, I am now outgoing and love to be on stage portraying characters of all kinds. Mrs. Trejo doesn’t get enough recognition for what she does because she does more than almost anyone I know. For this I want to say Thank you Mrs. Trejo for all that you have done and continue to do, your truly a blessing, I love you and thank…

K., Crouter, A. C., Updegraff, K. A., & McHale, S. M. (2011). In my observation, mothers’ disciplined their daughters and sons in the same manner where as the father is stricter with the sons than he is with his daughters. Growing up, I remember my mother telling us “just wait until your dad gets home” and then when he did arrive home he would sit us down and talk with us about the problem. The possibility of the time children spend with their mother is why she is considered many times, in charge of raising the children. The culture and identity in started with her with terms of endearment when one is born, words of encouragement when the times are tough. Many times growing up, I never knew that we were poor because our parents shielded this from their children. It is until this day, that the lessons they taught my siblings and myself are deeply embedded in my…

According to this theory, the aim of punishment is to educate or reform the offender himself. Punishment is inflicted on a criminal in order to reform or educate him. This theory is commonly accepted at the present time, because it is in harmony with the humanitarian sentiments of the age. This theory does not involve treating a person as a thing; a criminal is punished for his own good- not merely for the good of others. Reformation or education of the criminal is the aim of punishment.…
