Statement of Purpose
It today’s context ,a continuous change in the end users expectations is the only constant thing that is prevalent and the software industry has always tried to use innovative strategies and methods in order to design and develop h igh-quality software systems that meet the needs of the client in an efficient and predictable manner. To successfully accomplish this task ,the software industry requires a breed of professionals having knowledge of foundations of computer science along with strong technical and managerial leadership skills for managing large scale complex software projects.I aspire to be a competent professional equipped with these skills and I perceive
MSIT in MSE as the ultimate step to transform myself from a “technical person” to an “ technically astute strategist”
,which is capable of leading big and complex real world projects.
My childhood passion for computers coupled with my interest in database systems and programming motivated me to pursue a career in a field where I can use computers to analyze, solve and manage complex problems. On the basis of my performance in All India Engineering Entrance Examination, I got admission in Indian Institute of
Information Technology & Management (IIITM) Gwalior, which is one of the premier engineering colleges in India.
The rigorous five year dual degree program gave me an exp osure to research along with the expertise to develop efficient software solutions. In addition to class room learning, while projects and participation in various technical fests and competitions across India helped me apply theoretical concepts studied in the classroom into real life situations, my curricular internships at BSNL and Tata Consultancy Services exposed me to the corporate work culture.
