Social Constructs In I Am Malala
Social constructs have a big effect on people, they cause the up’s and down’s in one’s life which makes them who they are today and who they will be tomorrow. These social constructs either make us or break us whether we come out stronger as a person, depends on us. In the novel I Am Malala by . is a great example of the possibilities and effects social constructs can have on a person.
Malala was born and raised in modern day Pakistan, she explains not only her life story but also her father’s and her father’s father, along with the history of her nation. One social construct that plays a big role in her life is gender. In America, women long ago fought for the rights that we as a nation have today. We may not be seen as fully equal as men

    As for Malala, her positive resources include knowledge/education, interpersonal skills, psychological resources, and a negative vulnerability in psychological health.
