Slender Man
Slender Man is extremely long and slender, hence the name, and has four to eight long tentacles, or arms, that protrude from his back. Because not everyone reports these tentacles, it is theorized that Slender Man can contract them. These arms stretch to inhuman lengths, putting victims into a hypnotized state. Slender Man wears a suit and has a pale, ghostly face which appears to be wrapped in a thin layer of gauze. Perhaps the scariest aspect of Slender Man is his location; he stays in the woods near suburbs to be closer to the children. As seen in many photos, it is clear Slender Man often stays near large groups of children (www.creepypasta.com). Although many choose to view Slender Man as a myth to scare children, proof, sightings, disappearances, and past stories, prove that he is real. Evidence to prove Slender Man’s existence can be found in testimonies of sightings. Many reports prove that he appears mostly peering into windows and walking in front of motorcycles on abandoned roads late at night (www.creepypasta.com). Though indirectly, there have been reports of Slender Man in the news lately.
