Six Dimensions of Health Worksheet

Part 1

For each of the following six dimensions of health, list at least one characteristic, activity, belief, or attitude that reflects that dimension in your life. Provide a brief explanation with each example. Refer to Ch. 1 in the text for explanations of these dimensions.

Physical health: When it comes to being physically healthy; you have to eat healthy and watch what you eat as well as making sure you eat the right portions for your diet. Most of all is being physically active; going for a jog for about an hour or a bike ride, staying physically active such as when a person wakes up first thing in the morning is to have a morning stretch. All people need to resist any diseases coming their way. Everyone has to feel great about themselves physically and exercise daily.

Social health: On the other hand Social health is healthy for everyone living this world. Without a social life how would this world survive? Besides of how many countries are in this world and all kids of different languages there are many different ways to interact with people socially. Doesn’t matter who you are or where you came from; you have to be social no matter what like at home around family, friends, teachers as well as coworkers and the customers that come to your job. Having social relationships in your life are important especially when working with different kinds of people and sharing different opinions and coming together to a solution makes social life so much better.

Intellectual health: No matter whom you are or where you live or where you came from everyone in this world are intelligent. Intellectual health has to with clearly and critically thinking such as solving problems as well as learning abilities. Learning from many of your own life events.

Environmental health: All of people living on earth need to take of our land and where we live. We all
