Definition of health The definition of health means staying healthy. To have good health practises you need to be doing healthy things regularly. This means making good choices, such as a good and nutritious diet (what you eat and drink) and making good friends, as they influence you emotionally and spiritually. Lifestyle decisions are also included in the definition of health. For example you will need good physical health, to help burn off the calories that you eat. You might be in a sporting team or do some kind of activity that keeps you up and running. Emotionally you want to feel good about yourself and not feel and say things negative about yourself, making sure you can think clearly and respond quickly to whatever life throws at you. …show more content…
Also being able to connect with family around the dinner table and talk about what happened in their day or the day ahead. Spiritual health is when you feel good about yourself and not stressed out about when your big assessment is due or how you went in your exam. Having a strong faith in God is a key part of your spiritual health. Lastly feeling connected to the society and others around you, not feeling afraid to stand up for yourself and who you are. Mental/Emotional health is describing how you feel about yourself and others. This can be influenced by the people around you and past events in your life. The amount of stress that you have in your life will effect your mental/emotional health. Mental/Emotional health is also how you feel inside about events or things that have happened to you.
