Sinclair Reflection
This year I started college, my first problem arrived the day after I signed up, I logged into my sinclair email an what popped up was a email from FAFSA. The email stated that I would have to verify that all my information was still the same. So the next day I went to sinclair an visited the department that would help me register. This situation helped me to be willing to help someone because this man could have easily not wanted to help me but this was the money I need to pay for my education with, he was helpful and quick to getting the issue solved.

My conclusion, as I took this class my understanding of Christians has being a good outlook for me, in the way that God wants us to live. As I have outline about Jesus did not claim to be God, but he did state that I am the Fathers and Son. And if a person is a Christian, does it matter how they live their life, yes it does because they are suppose to be God leader in order to help others come to God. Going to college is a great step in life for a lot of us, but things now-a-days keep getting more expensive and many families don’t have the finances to afford it. We come to the one and probably the only option that is financial aid. Financial aid helps more than two thirds of the students, and some of them don’t use it the way they’re supposed to; some abuse the financial aid system and lie on the application so they can get money. Thanks to financial aid students have the opportunity to study in college and be able to earn a degree, but there are students that take advantage of it. I believe that financial aid system should be reconstructed as well as more security procedures should be added to the applications.…

However, I ended up failing my calculus class and barely passing my economics class due to the numerous activities I was taking a part of and having to work part-time to cover my living expenses. The struggle that I had faced academically was a huge shock to me because I had been among the top ten percent students in my high school, and never once in my life did I had to take tutoring. Even though I was going to tutoring twice a week and setting more time aside to study, I still failed my exams which caused me a tremendous amount of stress. The biggest obstacle I have overcame in my life was attending college at a four-year school. While my family had a decent income, some spending decisions and my parent’s desire for me to “make it on my own” meant I had to pay for whatever education I acquired on my own. This was made more difficult because their income disqualified me from multiple scholarships. Another problem was that the quality of education offered by my local schools was not very high. We weren’t offered AP classes and had to take almost identical classes since the school just couldn’t afford to offer much else. These classes often lagged far behind most standards anyway because many students in the class had no interest in learning or their quality of education up…
