YWCA child care has various objectives or other aims that it wishes to address with its vision and mission. First, the child care programme aims to expand access to quality regulated care in a home environment, particularly in communities where subsidized care options do not exist for families. The child care also aims to increase the quality and flexibility of early learning and care options available to families. The organization has got some workers, who offer services to children, teen girls, and women. In Canada, gender-based violence still exists. The community has not yet believed in equality between men and women. Children are also treated as minors, hence making the life for both women and children hard. Women have been associated with household chores such as cooking, washing and taking care of children. Men have been associated with leadership positions and formal jobs.
