Should Juveniles Receive Life Sentence?
Do you believe in this modern age juveniles should receive life sentence? For the past 20 years there have been many cases of teen murders, teen rape, etc Most people see this and want justice, as in death, life in prison, eye for a eye, but what if a child was being sentence not everybody will be approve. Because of this controversy some of the most famous murder cases are students turning on their teachers or parents, some as young as thirteen to seventeen years olds. The american people are deeply divided on teen life sentence, because are we a modern society or not. However, I agree with the majority of supreme court justice who believe that mandatory life sentence are unconstitutional, unfair and inhumane because most juvenile are emotionally immature, their brains aren't fully developed until age 25, and juveniles do not have the same rights as adults so they should be given adult sentences.

Authors like Gail Garingermarch Say “ politicians soon responded by lowering the age at which children could be transferred to adult courts.“ I find it odd that the politicians placing theses children in jail, are making money. We can say children in prison are suffering, yet don't care as long there making money. In america you can't vote till eighteen then you can't buy alcohol till twenty one, finally you can't rent a car till twenty five . Myself and some Americans don't see the logic behind this. The drinking age in most counties is eighteen . In this Brazill case he was only thirteen “ Brazilian was only thirteen when he committed his crime. He said he made a “stupid mistake,”.The court did not see a child. Paul Thompson states “prosecutors argued that by bringing a gun to school he planned the crime”. Most people believe it was a stupid mistake. And what the court said was also a stupid
