Should Dancing be considered a Sport?
What is the true definition of Sport and Dance? Sport is the activity of which a person or team competes against each other and involves the physical effort of skill to master. Dance is the series of movement that matches the speed and rhythm of a piece of music. Also, injures that dance and sports share. Therefore, Dancing should be considered a sport because it has the qualifying requirements of a sport.
In the first place, the requirements of skill and competition in sports and dance are the same. There are drill teams or individuals that compete to show off their routine that they mastered to get a spot in companies like Alvin Ailey or category of battle.
