Short Story Of Zip Down
It was early in the morning, about 7:30am. People were drinking coffee and eating breakfast. I was still sleeping from a hard night of kicking in my sleep. The next thing I knew it was 8:00am. Zip lining was about to happen before I knew it. The scary feeling of letting go. “Kiki, are you dressed?” My mom whispers.
“Yeah almost ready. Has anybody seen my hair brush?”
“Have you looked in your bag or in the bathroom?
“Yeah, Oh wait, I found it. It’s on the bed.”
“Five minutes until we leave,” My dad says.

The guide told me to lift up my feet once I was ready. I wasn’t ready. I could hear the other side saying “Kiki, Kiki, and Kiki.” Once I let go, I felt free. I felt so good I was ready to take on any zip line we were going to ride!

The last course was next. It was about 165 or more feet up and we got to zip line over the water. I volunteered to go first. This was the time where we showed off what we could do because a photographer was taking pictures of us and we could buy them. Once I let go it felt great. I let go of the metal and only hung one with on hand. Then I did those duck face lips where I pursed my lips together. We were all done. My worries were gone, now all that was left was, “Can we do this every

It was about 10:00 and it was time for our free period when we were allowed to go down the slides, the diving boards, or just swim on our own. Three of my buddies said they were going to go off the high dive, I was too shy to speak up about being afraid. I knew it was too little too late now I had to face my fears and just jump. We got in line, and it was as if I was in a trans just staring at everyone climb up the ladder and without hesitation jump and plunge into the icy water. Before I knew it I was on deck and I could feel stomach churning a little bit, as if on cue I heard the splash of Sam and knew it was my turn. I grabbed the metal bars and slowly made my way to the top, I felt like I was a mile off the…

Once we got to Six flags we already had our season passes so we headed to the main ride that we wanted to go on, “The Superman.” There was no line there so we headed straight to the first cars. I sat next to Jim. Ben was behind me and next to Tim. The first drop was 220 feet straight down. On the left side I was right next to the river, on other side Jim was facing the park. For about ten seconds we were all weightless. At the bottom of the drop we were going 75 miles per hour. It was the best roller coaster I have ever been on. We all decided to go on it two more times in a row before we finally decided to go find another ride.…
