The writing sample provided expresses my skill in fiction. Written for my Craft of Fiction course, it is a two piece exercise that serves as a beginning and a middle. These two pieces display my ability with tension and mood shifts. Out of the other pieces I’ve written so far this year, these two have the most significance to myself as a person. “Shape Shifting Dog Man” and “What Are You?” are pieces I wished I could have read during my younger years.
