Dog training is the process of teaching a dog to perform behaviors in response to certain commands.

When you bring your Puggle home, you’ll want to immediately start the training process. Training a dog is good not only for your relationship with the dog, but for the dog’s emotional health. Dogs travel in packs, naturally, and follow the lead of an alpha dog. When you train your dog, you become the alpha in his life, and he willingly does what you want. If your dog does not have an alpha, he will either become the alpha himself, doing whatever he wants and making everyone miserable, or will become depressed and listless.

As you are training your dog, spend a lot of time on socialization, allowing your dog to get used to people and animals in various situations, so that your pup will have a calm demeanor when facing other dogs or humans.
