Virtual Second life Benefits in Shell.

Second Life is an online 3D virtual world, established by Linden Lab from California it was launched on June 23, 2003. Over the years Second Life has over 1.5 million users. Anyone can visit and login free to Second Life and create their personas (avatar). Second Life gives companies options to create virtual workplaces to allow employees to virtually meet, hold an event, practice any kind of communications, conduct training in 3D virtual learning environment, simulate business processes, and sharing their knowledge.

Shell company could introduce their product they should have a strategy on how can they impact on costumers. A strong, loyal, customer relationship is the cornerstone of a successful business. Creating a virtual world in the industry is new service for Shell Company so when organizing event, customer relationship will be the most unforgettable considerable problem. Using Second Life benefits with Employees

For companies like Shell not spending enough time defining the international trade. Because most of the companies gets excited about all the benefits they see for trading internationally but not clearly understand the what international trade involves. Second life could helps to do a virtual research on the international market and it could give some knowledge about the worldwide countries.

Second Life could help Shell in communicating effectively with company’s employees and with other branches. Having relationships with employees means for company that relationships have to be worked like any other relationships even with problems. Sometimes, emails can be easily misunderstood; therefore, spending enough time to make telephone conversation and visiting will make misunderstanding of each other and improves long-term relationships with partners.
