Career Exploration Paper Ever since childhood the pressures of choosing a career are prevalent in every child’s mind. Although they may not always follow through with their childhood dream job, the foundations for what they want to do are laid down very early in their lives. For me, I have always known for a very long time that I wanted to enter the field of business, but just recently have I decided that finance would be my specific major. Financing is the person or corporation who funds a project, and financial analysts recommend individual investments and collections of investments, which are known as portfolios. Financing is simplistically put as buying off credit. Whoever finacines something owns it, whether it be a bank giving you a loan, or a city funding a public project.

Analysts do not supply the money; what they do is evaluate the situation for whoever higher them and advises them on where to invest their money or where to loan money. Typically an analyst will evaluate current and historical data, study economic and business trends, and study a company’s financial statements to determine its value. The reason I personally would like to have this job is because everything has worth, and assessing something worth or value seems intriguing to me. Honestly I do not know much about financing or how to do it, but I do know that after I graduate college I would like to start off at a firm somewhere. It does not matter what entry level position I have to acquire as long as I can get my foot in the
