This booklet is designed to social care workers and people who care for someone in need
WHAT IS MEANT BY ABUSE ?
Abuse is something or action that is done from one person to another person that harms them in some way . it can be a single situation or can continue all over a period of time and can be either in purpose or accidental. A person may be also auto abuse him/herself i.e being self neglect
There are a range of types of abuse that in here you will learn how to identify them and also know how to act in case of abuse identification

PHYSICAL ABUSE
Physical abuse is an act of violence,rough treatment, or anything that can cause a physical harm to a adult ,child and or a vunerable individuals,sometimes who is being physically abused may show signs of being physically abused, and some people may not show any signs of being physically abused, or they may not be noticed by others if the victim is hiding the abuse

FINANCIAL ABUSE

Fanancial abuse is taking the advantage of someone vunerable to get money,goods or property without consent this can include theft,fraud,exploitation or putting pressure on someone to carry out other financial transactions
