Romeo and Juliet

In fallowing essay I’m writing is about infraction, lust and mature love. Throughout the play of Romeo and Juliet they show examples of these different types of affection. Romeo shows a little bit of each of these types of affection towards Rosaline and Juliet. Juliet feels the same way towards Romeo. The nurse also shows some of these characteristics towards Friar Lawrence. The fallowing paragraphs I’m going to write about will have the definitions and example of infraction lust and mature love in them.

The first type of affection William Shakespeare portrays is infraction .Infatuation may sound like a serious type of affecting but it just like puppy love; it’s not really a big deal. In the play Romeo is infatuations towards Rosaline who doesn’t want anything to do with him. Romeo thinks he loves her and becomes very depressed. There are examples of this in act one section one when Romeo marrows over Rosaline to Benvolio. Therefore Romeo didn’t really love Rosaline but had a big crush on her.

The second type of affection that Shakespeare shows is lust. Lust is when you have more of a sexual sensation with their partner. It’s more than puppy love but it isn’t as serious as mature love. The nurse and Capulet show lust towards each other in act 5, when Romeo is hiding in the ally watching Juliet he feels lust towards her. Those are just some of the examples and the definition of lust.

The third type of affection that William shows is mature love. Mature love is when you feel you can take it to the next level with someone. When you feel you can get married and be with that person forever that mature love. Romeo and Juliet have mature love in the end of the story when they get married. Another example is when they take their lives because they wouldn’t be able to live without each other. I think mature love has some of the best examples in the book.

In the play Romeo and Juliet there’s lots of example of the different types of love.in the first act they show mostly examples of infatuation between Romeo and rosalin.in the second act it pretty much the same except Romeo feels infatuation with Juliet. the third act Romeo feels a little lust for juliet.in the forth and fifth act Romeo and Juliet are in love .they feel a mature love for each other .therefore I think that infatuation and mature love were more common in the play Romeo and Juliet and they used it the most.
