Romeo And Juliet Rebellious Adolescents
Romeo and Juliet by, William Shakespeare is considered by many to be one of the greatest love stories of literature. There are many debates as to whether or not Romeo and Juliet are truly in love or are they just rebellious adolescents. According to the definition of rebellious, it has been defined as “ showing a desire to resist authority, control of conventions.” It is evident that Romeo and Juliet display similar characteristics, therefore, can be rebellious adolescents. Throughout Asimov’s Guide to Shakespeare he continously mentions that the two demonstrate lustful feelings.
Romeo’s love for Juliet seems to be unreal because at the beginning of the play he mentions how in love he is with Rosaline. Rosaline is sworn to chaste which bothers
