Rock Bottom Quotes
"Success is how high you bounce when you hit bottom."- George S. Patton

This quote can be applied to many different circumstances in your life. This is why I believe it stands out so much to me. When I first read this quote I thought about football, but then I started thinking about it in a more broad perspective. If you apply it to your job, family, sports, etcetera, it all comes back to what the quote clearly states, no matter what the situation you always have a chance to succeed. Even when you think you've hit rock bottom, if you work to better yourself and your circumstances then you have succeeded. I also see it as when others think you've failed, you can truly judge yourself on how you respond. I always judged success on winning or

This quote is long, but includes many factors that make it so inspiring. The first sentence is my favorite part of the quote because it makes one of the best points. With a great use of vocabulary, it explains how the hardest trails lead to the best views. The main reason that this part speaks to me is because one of my favorite hobbies is hiking. In my experience, the hardest hikes always lead to the most divine views. That doesn’t only apply to hiking, however. Working hard in school and other activities always ends well. I like it because it shows how the beginning may be the hardest segment, but it will always lead to an excellent reward.…

For some people it takes forever to figure out that failure is not always a bad thing, while at the time it may seem like the end of the world. “We are all potentially capable of any human act.” (Roth 39). Even the most successful of people have failed at something at least once in their lives. Maybe consider though, that failure was what brought them back up to the best, hardest working person that they could be and it did not take long for them to retrieve what they had lost and made it ten times better!…

    Never Give Up Quotes

I think one of the themes in this book “Exposed” is Never Give Up. Don’t ever give up on anything you want to and never let it slip without fighting. In the book it says, " She's been avoiding me all week long.” page 45. Yes the girl was avoiding her, but she never stopped trying to talk to her, like in this quote she talks about it with her, " Im sorry, Liz, but I can’t be with you anymore.Every time i’m with you I see him.” pg 131 " I thought we were friends! Forever-Best-Friends!” pg 130 I think she was brave for trying to keep cool and try to fix it. She never gave up on the friendship she want to still have and have her inner life.Another theme I thought was in this book is trust, it talks a lot about how Liz doesn’t believe Kate yet…

When you were growing up as a young adult, who do you think had more influence in your life? Your parents or your friends, or your community maybe even your teachers at school. I know my parents don’t influence me as much as my community. That’s why I think that this quote “It takes a village to raise a child” by Hillary Clinton relates to the book “And Still We Rise”. I think that the quote relates to the book because the students really get shaped by their community and surroundings. I think that the teachers played the role as a part of the “village”. I also think that the community personnel’s affected the student’s life. Lastly but not least, I believe that the friends also a big part of the students “village”. In conclusion I think that there are many factors that make up the “village”.…

Success is to achieve something that we truly long for. “Sometimes failure is more beneficial than success.” Written by Darren Roberts. This is a very inspiring quote for all species of mankind. I agree rightfully with this quote as it states that even sometimes there are ups and downs, falls and disruptions in life, but those problems make us even stronger and prevent us from making the same mistake and make us more successful in life. Although, if losing things sometimes make us closer to something we want, we must make a go for it. As In Homers’, The Odyssey, and Nancy’s’, The House of The Scorpion, the main characters deal with personal loss and face many hardships, but finally reach to their own respected homes and families, safe and soundly.…

The question of failure is, in fact, a success in itself. I frame my life knowing that every obstruction and challenge faced is just a lesson waiting to be learned. The circumstances that genuinely made me believe this philosophy happened when I began working at Chick-Fil-A. Starting my work at the offset of 16 I promised myself that I was going to prove to the management that I was going to progress to become one of the best. Throughout the years of working there I upheld my promise and worked my way up to become a Team Leader. The youngest Team leader ever to work at that Chick-Fil-A.…

I was lacking the support I needed and I was not giving myself as much credit as I should have been giving myself. This aphorism means a lot and relates to my life in the way that I have lost a lot of people in my life and not necessarily by death but because my family has been torn apart by society, drugs, and things drugs lead to. When I was five years old my dad left my mom and I because of the drugs and people who were in drugs. At the moment it had no impact because I was young and all I noticed was that my mom would leave the house more often, earlier or come back a little later. I never realized it was because my mom was taking on two jobs at the time to support me and all my needs, today I wonder what my mom’s motivation was. Was I the only motivation left to her? Today , tomorrow , and everyday my mom will forever be my motivation because she does a lot that I take for granted and supports me in all ways possible. Most people would be depressed for a while and honestly sometimes it does get to me and I think about how much my life would change if it was the other way around or if they had actually stayed together. Looking back through all the bad things you have been through in life you cannot sit around and just be sad you have to overcome it and learn from it. Learn that not everyone is going to stay…

Defeat is the secret ingredient to success.” For me this quote means a lot due to a lot of people trying to do something good for themselves or have a goal and just because they don't accomplish it the first time they think they have fail. If there's something i've learned from my teachers is that “you don't fail when you don't make it or when you don't get there first, you fail when you quit.” So where does my generation find success? My generation finds success in graduating from high school others find it in not getting pregnant in high school. Some might find it in having a lot of money or getting a career and having a family or finding someone worth it of spending their time on. Taking in consideration of how my generation is there’s a lot of ways on how you can find success.…

This quote relates bad hops in baseball to obstacles in my life and making great plays to overcoming those obstacles. This brings me to my laws of life which are how to deal with failure, and how to make the best of a bad situation put before you. I will be relating both of these laws to experiences I've had in baseball. I made the realization that failure is healthy and can only make me stronger. Before I made these realizations, whenever I would fail I would get down on myself and lose confidence. I’ve also had to make the best of an unfortunate situation that occurred during the baseball season. These are my laws of life.…

This is probably the part where you see someone put a cliché quote that inspires them, but I’m going to jump right into this. The value of failure is something you should learn in life, because failure can teach you a new mentality to do things, like working hard and trying to get better or quitting because someone can’t deal with failure.…

There are two major examples of this quote being true in my own life. The first way that I find this to be true would have to be when I was entering the 6th grade. My dad wanted me to join the football team and be a football star like he was in his middle school and high school years, I on the other hand was so sick of hearing about how great he was and how football was the only sport that was really important because it makes you a real man. I did what any kid who has an attitude problem does after hearing this; I joined the soccer and tennis team just for spite.…
