Robert Allman Character Traits
A man named Colin Powell once said, “A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work.” A fine example of hard working men would be Dr. V and Robert Allman. Dr. V and Robert Allman had many positive traits, such as they were family-oriented, hard-working, and determined, these traits drove these men to be dedicated to their cause.

One characteristic of both men is that they were family-oriented: Dr. V worked as a dedicated surgeon and he continued to be the normal family man and villager that he was; “Dr. V is simultaneously the fellow villager that he once was, and continues to be, and the extraordinary healer he has become” (Dass 6). Dr. V felt that despite being the founder of a large hospital he was still the normal villager he used to be and continued to be. He continued to dedicate a large portion of his time

V and Robert Allman was Determination Dr. V’s passion was to help others enjoy life with their sight, “Dr. V’s blend of being and doing is his message. He continually seeks to be an instrument of imbuing the physical world with living spirit” (Dass 6). He felt that helping others would help them to help themselves, so he founded the Aravind Eye Care Center which eventually became the largest eye-care organization in the world. Robert Allman was determined to excel in life, “All my life, i have set ahead of me a series of goals, and then tried to reach them on at a time. I had to learn my limitations. It was no good to try for something i knew at the start was wildly out of reach, because the only invited the bitterness of failure. I would fail sometimes anyway, but on the average, i made progress” (Allman 9). Robert Allman did all he could to just make even progress, to which he would continue until he perfected what he was doing, for example he became a prestigious athlete as he was determined to become just that. What I believe validates Porathjune’s argument is the different facts that she lays on this article. I agree to the fact that the medical world is also driven by human beings which desire to have a conducive environment. Based on my personal experiences, I concur with the author when she says that the doctor’s treatment is highly dependent on the administrative attitude, a message that illustrates logic. Porathjune’s uses ethos to appeal to the ethics that binds doctors. Indeed, in as much as the medical personnel are qualified to treat ailments, their productivity also depends on the management. Civilization does not; therefore discriminate the career because it touches on personality and emotions. The use of pathos in this article comes out…
