Billy’s eyes waved up above him and his legs were long and straight. However, what the other foods didn’t know about Billy is that he is also - Bacon Man- the rescuer taste buds, defender of tastiness, and banisher of the bland. Billy is the type of food to always save the day and has loyal friends that love him dearly. Moreover, Bacon Man is the well known hero of breakfast yet, is that all Bacon Man can do?
This is the story of Billy and the adventure of the lunch rush! As everyone knows, that bacon’s kingdom is the breakfast buffet. It is even true to say that bacon is the very best of breakfast. However, Billy wanted more from life than just being everyone’s favorite side dish. He loved spending time with Pam the Pancake, he always enjoyed joking with Wanda the Waffle, and how could Billy forget laughing with Otis the Omlette? That's what I do.” With sympathy Linda and Tammy smiled back, “But we don’t need you to make us more delicious, we don’t need a superhero to save us. Who are you really?” With even more confusion and with a little sigh Billy confessed, “Ok, my real name is Billy Backmen, I am just an apple smoked piece of bacon.” Billy’s red cape floated away and he stood there looking at his long tan legs. His long eyes drooped toward his feet. But Linda and Tammy rushed in to hug him. They cried out, “Although we don’t need Bacon-Man the superhero, we would love to have you, Billy Backmen, as a

Starting from the very beginning of this book we see the determination and willpower, when Billy manages to earn enough money to buy his dogs. From berry-picking, crawfish-catching, to coon-treeing and mountain lion-slaying, there isn’t anything he wouldn’t do to get what he wants. This quote from Chapter 3, Paragraph 17, “I caught crawfish with my bare hands [...] I tore my way through the blackberry patches until my feet were scratched raw and red from the thorns,” truth is found in the theme of determination, because once again… he pushed through it all, he always had.…

People who are psychologically unstable, usually tend to try to compensate for their past. For example, Harris’ last meal consisted of Kentucky fried chicken pieces, two pieces, Pepsi and jelly beans. Most often, people in Harris’ situation tend to think of the best or the fanciest food they can eat. However, as Harris’ past was based around crime, his meal reflects the need to compensate for the fun of the teenage years, that he spent in jail. The baker and Mayeski might have lost a…

Reverend John hale was a minister from Beverly and witnessed Massachusetts’ first execution of convicted witch, Margaret Jones of Charlestown in 1648. The Crucible by Arthur Miller is about a group of teen girls convicted in 1692 Salem, Massachusetts for performing spiritual rituals around a fire; Which sparked the Witchcraft trials that Reverend John Hale participated in. My character analysis is on Reverend Hale because his dedication to the witchcraft trials changed, he had confidence in John Proctor’s innocence, and he regretted signing Rebecca Nurse’s death warrant. There are many examples in The Crucible that portrays Rev. Hale’s dedication status, confidence, & regret.…

One way John showed a development of maturity was when he got a steady job or in his words a ‘real’ job. He had been struggling financially for months and finally gave into his fate of entering the politics of jobs. During this transition in his life he realized he liked having a real job “No one stood over me with a whip” (Robison 179). He discovered that in a real job you get more freedom and it’s usually less stressful than being an engineer for a punk band. His first ‘real’ job gave him the push he needed to start thinking more maturely. He will constantly be getting a more mature outlook on things and be able to add to his career experiences.…

It is an enigma in which the characters have made an unrealistic life for themselves, although most of the main characters are no longer real. You would think that this is a classic sign of schizophrenia, but then what would you classify the wife and children who not only blocked a traumatic experience that ended in death, but believe that they are alive as well? This story was beautifully written and put together that there seems to be a series of different disorders, not only for Mr. Ward/ Mr. Will but for his deceased wife and children.…

Norm, a mild-mannered RMIT student, is driving home from lectures one evening and stops at the Georgia Chicken Bar for some food to take home. He buys a QUIK-PAK of chicken, which he starts to eat as he drives along the South Eastern Freeway. One piece of chicken has a peculiar flavour, so Norm turns on the car light, takes a quick glance and sees that he has been eating a crumbed fried mouse. He feels ill immediately and loses control of the car, which crashes into a car in the next lane, driven by Paul. Both Norm and Paul suffer injuries in the accident, and are taken to hospital. Norm's mother, Edna, visits him that…
