Risley Early High School Program Analysis
At the end of my fifth grade year, I unexpectedly got accepted to Risley Early College Academy, a program designed to prepare middle and high school students for college. Risley was originally an ordinary high school, which has been standing for years, but someone decided to turn the school into a college program for young students. Throughout my years at Risley, the school was ranked as number one in testing, which proved that the program was a success. Even though the program was doing so well and had so many achievements academically, the school closed down due to budget cuts. The closing of Risley left me stranded with no other option for a school in mind. This was only part of God master plan. My parents first heard about the new program in the middle of my fifth grade year. Because of the program’s objective, my parents were convinced to enroll me in the program. A week after the interviewing process I was accepted to attend the program. When I first arrived, I notice how the school was smaller than other schools. I also found the environment of the school quite peculiar to what I was immune to. A month later I was one of many students being prepared for college. All three years, as being a Risley student, the program was given a report on its outstanding performances.

This was surprising to all of the staff, because the program was a huge success. No one knew where these preposterous sayings were coming from. The school principal wanted to put an end to the rumors, by declaring that the school was not closing. The rumors finally faded away and everyone worries grew less. One day all of Risley students were reader an article about the school closing down due to budget cuts. This was an emotional time for everyone who attend the school, both staff and students. No one had any plans for the upcoming school
