Intro
Competitive Advantages
Competitive advantage allows a company to be able to be more competitive than other companies that have the same product or offer the same service. Riordan Manufacturing manufactures plastic beverage containers, custom plastic parts, plastic fan parts and the major customers of these plastic parts are automotive parts manufacturers, the Department of Defense, bottling companies, aircraft manufacturers, and appliance manufacturers. These items give them a competitive advantage over other companies as well as being able to produce them for those that they produce them for. Another competitive advantage that the company has is that they have a very store customer service values and they value their customers by keeping track of sales of their customers and being able to for see what they will need based of past order the customers have placed.
Innovation and Sustainability
Riordan Manufacturing can improve the innovation and sustainability of business operations in the United States and in the global market by continuing to focus on their above and beyond customer service that keeps the customers loyal to them. They can also continue to provide products that are better than the competitor. Having a high quality product and a demand for it from repeat customers will help to sustain level of sales and get more customers when they are recommended by those that they already sell to.
