Although most will probably say someone close to them is inspiring, like their mother, grandmother, sister. In my opinion, they are your family, and you will always love and be inspired by them. Therefore I decided to write this on how a singer is inspiring to me. Her name is Miranda Lambert. Almost none of my friends have even heard of her. I guess because maybe she’s a country singer and they don’t really like country music? Who knows, but she is quite an amazing person. She grew up in a small town in Texas. “Not having money toughened me up a bit, but I'll always be grateful. Texas people are really strong in their roots. I started writing and playing guitar at 17. I've always loved music, and my dad is a singer-songwriter.” Miranda once…

I was impressed with Mary’s ability to present a very emotional and scary topic with a balanced tone of voice. Because she didn’t present emotion I was able to take in what she was saying even as she used various devices to get her point across and I felt this was very effective. At the end when she spoke to her children as the future of her cause was a tear jerker, and even if this wasn’t necessary, was a smart move to gain support for her cause. The underlying current of her whole speech was that with proper education and an…

I sing her praises for avoiding magic and seeking a deeper explanation for the things that she would have us experience. There are underlying themes throughout her stories of understanding and appreciating the world around us, and of championing social justice. The way things work in her writing shows a picture of understanding the life force of the world, which brings about a greater understanding of people and their need for healing. I also applaud her use of a narrative that alternates between viewpoints, but only because she does it so well. I love seeing things from different perspectives, and this was achieved flawlessly throughout both…

Well-known Sci-fi writer, Ray Bradbury, in his novel, Fahrenheit 451, illustrates that relationships reflect who individuals are and who they want to be. Bradbury’s purpose is to promote the idea that a person should have the courage to listen to their own beliefs and thoughts of happiness rather than to blend in with society. He adopts a disoriented and poetic tone in order to appeal to similar feelings and experiences on a non-realistic scale in his young adult readers.…

I was captivated and drawn in by Jill Bolte Taylor’s speech within seconds of her message. She effectively grabbed my attention through her narration, her personal story, and thought-provoking questions, that she was asking for herself. Within seconds, she pulled me in by relating the speech towards herself, to her career, her brother’s mental illness, she was planting a seed of curiosity to the audience. For Example: “I wanted to understand why is it that I can take my dreams, I can connect them to my reality, and I can make my dreams come true. What is it about my brother’s brain and his schizophrenia that he connects his dreams to a common and shared reality so they instead become delusions” I was then asking the question why is it?…

She does not just say something and then leave it undefended. For example, when she was discussing the incidents that have happened as a result of security questions, she does a good job of giving examples of both famous people and celebrities that have been targeted and normal, average people's accounts. This helps the reader realize that security questions are an issue, and they should be fixed. Having facts and examples to back her arguments helped get her point across.…

The first one she played was clips of her in all different parts of the world educating younger children on conservation mechanisms and endangered animals like the chimpanzees. It was really interesting to see her doing that in such different parts of the world. The other video that she ended the lecture with was very touching. It started by showing a very skinny chimpanzee that had almost died and then showed it being released into the wild. But before running off the chimpanzee jumped onto the cage and hugged Jane. It was so endearing and loving, I was teary-eyed watching…

This shows her excellent work ethic and is particularly inspirational to me because through her hard work, Lilly has become one of the highest earning YouTube stars. This teaches me that if I work hard I can reap the benefits. Lilly also used her impressive work ethic to overcome her struggle with depression. Though Lilly initially wanted a YouTube channel as a means of expression to help her beat depression, she gained further inspiration once she realized that she could fill the void of representation of South Asian girls on the internet.…

I can remember a positive, successful speaker right off my mind. I can remember her famous speeches and they way she spoke so clear because she was a profound teacher in my high school that I always looked up to. The way she depict her actions, movements, gestures, content, and delivery was well thought out and was very clear. Not only was she a well-known teacher, she was in charge of honor society and because of being the leader she was in charge of representing our high school and with that had to make many speeches. Even when she was in just a small classroom or a big auditorium, her speeches were well-known. When she spoke her words were very clear and she never mumbled. She was calm and stayed at the right pace when she was talking. Her posture was very good and she was focused on the group as a whole. Her skill level was very high so many people paid attention to her for that reason and the reason that everything was very organized. In her class, she made cues to when we should write notes that she didn’t necessarily write on the board and made it very clear to what the most important facts were altogether.…
