Dear Intercessor: In every human relationship, marriage being the most intimate, there are three stages of love. The FIRST stage is SUPERFICIAL. When we are first getting to know someone, we usually only relate on a very shallow level. Initially, we try to put our best foot forward, because we are trying to win one another’s love and approval. However, as time progresses, we begin to let our guard down, revealing sides of ourselves that we would have been afraid to UNVEIL until we were more secure in one another’s love. Leonardo DaVinci’s Mona Lisa is one of the most well-known paintings in the world. Show anyone from a 60 year old man to a 10 year old girl a picture of the painting and, most likely, they will be able to name the painting as well as the painter. While some say that DaVinci’s painting is the most famous of all created, many of Andy Warhol’s paintings are also easily recognizable. Almost everyone has seen the Campbell’s Soup Can series Warhol painted or his famous Triple Elvis print. This paper will be focusing on his Marilyn Monroe series, which I will be comparing and contrasting to the Mona Lisa. There are many obvious differences between the two paintings, such as the time period, color scheme, background and subject matter. My goal is to also point out some similarities such as their use of line, recreations, fame, and prominence in society.…

In conclusion, the Bible tells us of God’s promises to His People. These seven covenants, from the Edenic, during creation, to the new covenant, till the time of creation, God made, not to be our ‘drill sergeant’, but to help guide us, and reward us for following Him. We need to be more obedient now and days, especially now, more than ever, because we are still waiting on the Rapture, which could come at any moment. This is why we need to get in the Bible more. It will show both believers, and nonbelievers, what the Bible is truly…

We must consider that God is sovereign and injustices must also be reconciled. We have been given the free-will to choose Him and He laid down his life to give us the ability to be reconciled through Him. “Although this message was first given to the Jewish faithful, all believers will participate in the kingdom of God. This glorious victory of Christ should be in the forefront of the thinking of God’s people.”31 How wonderful that the covenant includes everyone who chooses to believe in Christ! There is great beauty in a love so great that He would plan for our ultimate rescue of His creation as His church, His bride, His…

The prophecy of Isaiah is a long and complex book containing not only some of the most loved and well known passages in Scripture, but also some of the most difficult to understand. The book is written in a variety of styles: prophecy, poetry and narrative. The scope and arrangement of the material is wide-ranging and comprehensive, sometimes straightforward, at other times bewildering. Some arguments are difficult to unravel, notably chapters 28-33.[5] Scholars have identified various themes for the book: salvation;[6] [7] [8] redemption, justice, servanthood;[9] punishment and restoration;[10] the city of Jerusalem;[11] complete obedience;[12] Christology.[13] Oswalt writes, “it may be argued that Israel’s relationship to the nations becomes the skeleton around which the book’s theology is structured.” [14] In a sense this hypothesis draws together all the themes that others have postulated. The final outcome of Israel and…
