INTRODUCTION
The implementation of a minimum wage by government has brought much discussion by various groups of people and individuals in the country. This information is intended to assist the labor minister on the pros and cons of introducing such as policy.lt is hoped that the information being given here will be useful to him so that peoples sentiments on the issue are appreciates and if possible addressed for the harmonization of all concerned and interests that have risen among the citizens in the country. The ruling party has been on record that people’s sentiments on the issue are appreciated and if possible addressed for the harmonization of all concerns and interests that have risen among the citizens in the country. The ruling party has been on record that it is a listening government and therefore this document should help to foster unity in the nation between the employees and the employers so that popularity is upheld to ensure advancement in development.
The workers at all levels of the community such as house servants, store keepers, security guards and cleaners are very happy with the announcements of the new policy on minimum wage. This is so due to the increment in the salaries.
a) These workers are being motivated as a result they are likely going to work harder than before.
b) There will be increased work output.
c) In places where workers store from their employees in order to make ends meet the trend will change. There will be less incidences of stealing or eradication of the vice completely. As a result the employers can expect better profits in their businesses.
d) The families of these workers will benefit as the will be some breed or a better meal for on the table for them.
e) Low income earners will be able to send their children to school. This will lessen the number of street kids which has become a source of worry for government.
f) There will be less crime in the nation as some of these employees will use their income
