Pursuing A Master's Degree In Criminal Justice
I have chosen to return to school and pursue a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice for a couple of reasons. The first reason is to increase my personal knowledge of the Criminal Justice system which includes police trends, criminal/civil courts, juvenile justice and other aspects of law enforcement. During my experience as commissioned officer for the past four years I have learned that in order to consider myself as an experienced officer and train others in law enforcement, I have to increase my knowledge base in all areas of Criminal Justice through education.
