Pune Emerging as Fashion Capital
Is Pune emerging as a new fashion capital of India?

From schools to colleges, technology parks to pensioner gardens, the young and the vibrant to the old and the wise and now its emergence as the new fashion capital of the country… the city has it all.
Pune being the second largest city of Maharashtra with a population of more than 7 million is giving a tough competition to the two-fashion capitals- Mumbai and Delhi. Pune, popular for its styling, availability of fashion apparel, accessories and big fashion events no longer lacks behind in the competition.

Pune has grown from a sleepy city 15 years ago to a bustling metropolis that offers a variety of things to do, see, feel and fall in love with! Pune also came in the league of being a fashion capital from the past two years with the introduction of Pune Fashion Week. It helped the fashionable puneites to bridge the gap between them and fashion itself.

The youngsters are creative when it comes to clothes - young girls are often seen teaming hot denim pants with white-fitted shirts and boots, polka dot short skirts with smart white tops. Guys are seen dressed in trendy T-shirts and jeans or denims with jackets.
Adding to the glamour, Pune has an IPL team too, which means celebrities, socialites and sports person. It adds an extra shine with late night IPL after parties attended by the socialites, sports person and young fashionistas.

Pune also experiences racing season every year conducted by Royal Western India Turf Club Ltd. (RWITC) which brings together socialites like Vijay Mallya, Cyrus Poonawala and Madhur Bajaj among others together. We also see the youths of Pune flocking together to International musical concerts held in the city and dancing to the beats of international stars like Bryan Adams, David Guetta, Dj Astrix and likewise.
